Winner Sports Trading is a company with three generations dedicated to a single line of business; awarding excellence. When our founder, Tariq Rasheed, laid the foundations of Winner Sports Trading back in 1990, he embeded some principals in the very core of the company:

  • Earn in lawful ways
  • Be truthfull and trustworthy
  • Honour and fulfill business obligations
  • Sell things that you will buy your self
  • Fair treatment of all the individuals envolved

Since then, we have been in the business of awarding athletes, students, healthcare workers, employees, sales teams, volunteers, managers, vendors, dealers, customers, citizens, doctors, lawyers, presidents, actors, donors, heroes, and everyday citizens… people serving with purpose, reaching above and beyond, doing amazing work, attaining new heights, and accomplishing the impossible. Corporates recognizing teamwork, development, reaching goals, going the extra mile, innovation, dedication and commitment, improvements, individual efforts and much more.

We often see around us and wonder how fast the world is moving. The pace of growth is sometimes unbelievable. Looking back today, you only remain amazed that we all have been through this ‘express’ world.

Our roots go back to our family business, Rasheed Store – Bahrain, which was started by my father Rasheed Ahmed, an immigrant from Pakistan, 70 years back. Firm faith, strong principles, end-less dedication, support of friends and family, loyal customers, continuous hard work, and a never-say-I-quit attitude, helped establish Rasheed Store as a well-known name throughout the Kingdom of Bahrain and is regarded as one of the premier trophy and awards stores.

After successfully covering that market, we started a new partnership in Sharjah – UAE, by the name of ‘Winner Sports’ in the year 1992. Again, history repeated itself, and Winner Sports became the prime spot for Trophies, Awards & Special Gifts. In the year 1995, we had opened our own independent store in Dubai, Winner Sports Trading LLC. Our firm family principles, excellent customer service, the store’s prime location, hard-work, and years of experience helped recreate the magic.

For the last 25 years, we have stood among the region’s reputed trophies and awards store. With alliances with the world’s best trophy houses, a hardworking & committed team, and endless dedication, we kept turning ideas into exclusive and creative awards and trophies.

Our plans for this year included moving to a new location in the new part of Dubai as well as expanding our manufacturing unit. Unforeseen by anyone, 2020 came with its own unprecedented challenges, the biggest of which stood the global pandemic, Covid-19. The pandemic has negatively affected global economic growth beyond anything experienced in nearly a century. Worldwide curfews, quarantines, lockdowns, social distancing, unemployment, health and safety regulations, and similar restrictions had to be established to prevent the further spread of the virus. This all left us with very few options and the most favorable for us was to merge our showroom and manufacturing unit into a single all-in location in Ras Al Khor.

As the saying goes, “The winner says: Let me do it for you”, we are ready to safely welcome you back to our new showroom as well as an all-new and improved website, and to turn your ideas into ‘Exclusive pieces of Art’.
